To grow and keep growing: another successful year at Inversiones Pucara
Market narratives are not static, nor are the political, economic and financial conditions of any territory today; to exist and grow as IPSA has been doing is only based on the values that our company shares: adaptability, innovation, responsibility, teamwork and, of course, excellence.
Last Friday, December 13, 2024, during our Annual Convention, we lived an afternoon of emotions, impacts and a huge proportion of pride; and the fact is that, although we knew of our regular and extended intervention in the Cuban market in the last five years, this year's data only confirmed that we have been taking the right steps.
All our areas gave voice and humanity to what could be considered cold figures, and the messages of recognition and optimism only warmed our souls on that rainy Havana afternoon. From the first words of our president, Emilio Ucha Duro, a day of celebration for what had been achieved and encouragement to face the challenges of 2025 was established; consequently, on that winter Friday, applause and emotions were felt and the IPSA community strengthened its bonds.
The presentations of results by Enrique Gómez, Fernando Rovira, Damicela Aquino, José Miguel Capdevila, Oscar Ayala, Julio Blanco and Gustavo Pascual unraveled the essence of IPSA in its numbers, its projections and challenges, while bringing all employees -from administrative to services, security and warehouses- closer to the crusade to continue growing as a company because the ceiling is defined by ourselves, and as Fernando assured:
“there will always be something to improve”.
A topic of interest and joy at the event was the exponential expansion of our staff, this is due to the fact that new challenges demand an increase in talent. Today IPSA registers more than a hundred workers that reinforce our more experienced structure, and in this sense, the veteran forces of our institution were recognized for their years of dedication and commitment to our company in an emotional tribute.
For more than two decades, Inversiones Pucara has been concerned with distributing excellence throughout the country with more than 5,000 product references associated with top brands and excellent quality, mainly in the beverage and food sectors.
Precisely the intensive and successful work with the construction/contextualization of luxury brands has been a milestone for the company in recent years because taking on a well-known assortment such as the one IPSA holds deserves a communicative and marketing support of impact. In addition, in order to carry out the brand narratives, a macro-effort of all our areas is required, coordinating and articulating integral management so that the product cycle (of any of our brands) is completed expeditiously with the guarantee of excellence and the satisfaction of our public. Because of this committed and responsible work, we consider IPSA's employees to be our most valuable asset.
The evening continued with a pleasant dinner in the warm company of colleagues who have become family, the fraternization of the older generations in IPSA with the new additions to the staff, the sharing of multicultural and transdisciplinary experiences, all the laughter, toasts and joy flowed in the same direction: IPSA closed another year of success, growth and talent with the prerogative to continue driving the Cuban market with overwhelming force and standards of excellence.
